Why I joined 49er Foundry: 49er Foundry gave an opportunity to pitch our ideas to start up founders, to give us mentorship feedbacks and also gave us a seed funding to further drive the company forward. The community is also rich, it gives an opportunity to hear what other founders are innovating and how they are navigating through different entrepreneurial journey challenges.
Short Term Goals: This semester my goal is to ensure my company pilot our product within the first quarter of 2021. Also develop new markets for the company in places with poor energy levels. I will further develop my project management skills, learn more about the intricacies of raising funds for startups from both Angel and VC investors.
Goals for my degree: My Goal is to be an Energy consultant which is more of my role in my company, providing new insights to drive sustainability and look at innovative approaches to dive into new markets, by offering technical feasibility and business viability propositions.
