Ventureprise will be hosting the NC IDEA Foundation to provide an overview of NC IDEA programming, specifically focus on the upcoming NC IDEA SEED Program, which provides $50,000 grants to early-stage, high-growth companies.
During the first part of the session you will have a chance to learn about NC IDEA and introduce yourself to part of the team, including Senior Director John Austin and Program Manager Lauren McCullough. They will briefly walk through the various programs of the foundation and discuss those that may benefit your company, including NC IDEA LABS and NC IDEA SOAR.
The second part of the prep session will be interactive with direct feedback on what it means to submit a successful application for your venture. The session will provide tips and best practices for writing a successful application, covering the anatomy of the grant application with specifics on what the reviewers are looking for in each section.
