Ventureprise will be hosting the NC IDEA FOUNDATION to provide an overview of NC IDEA FOUNDATION programming, specifically focusing on the upcoming 2019 Spring Grants cycle that supports early-stage, high-growth companies with NC IDEA SEED ($50,000) and NC IDEA MICRO ($10,000).
During the first part of the session you will have a chance to learn about NCIDEA and introduce yourself to part of the team, Program Director Amy Bastian. She will briefly walk through the various programs of the foundation and discuss those that may benefit your company, including NC IDEA LABS and NC IDEA SOAR.
The second part of the prep session will be interactive with direct feedback on what it means to submit a successful application for your venture. The session will provide tips and best practices for writing a successful grant application, covering the anatomy of the grant application with specifics on what the reviewers are looking for in each section. Eligibility requirements for SEED and MICRO will also be covered to provide you with a greater understanding of what companies will be competitive for the grants.
